Hampton stayed for an hour and then went

home with Ms. Katie, his babysitter :)

 



We had our annual cousin cookie baking the day

before Christmas Eve ...

Liza thought she was mixing a red icing, but it turned

out a little pink ... we said this was the year of the

Lilly Pulitzer Christmas cookies ... xo

 



Hampton's first candlelight service ... he was

in awe of the lights and music!

 



We had Christmas Eve dinner at our house after

church (seafood gumbo, stone crab and about

1,000 different cookies) ...

 



his Christmas pajamas and stocking that his

Grammy finished knitting for him on the day

he was born (once she knew his name!)...

Santa drank his eggnog and ate his gingersnap

cookies!

 



...and left Hampton books and cars, a football,

blocks, alphabet magnets, train, etc.

Mother's Day Brunch & Hampton's Dedication

 

On Mother's Day, we dedicated

Hampton in the 11:15 service at church.

We stood before the congregation,

family and friends, and pledged to raise

our sweet baby in a home that honors Christ.

 

 

 Hampton wore his little white smocked "suit" :)

with monogrammed bib, and white socks and shoes

from Strasburg. I could have eaten his cheeks,

so cute!

 



Afterward we had family and friends over to my

mom and dad's house for a brunch. Three of my

dad's siblings, three of my mom's brothers and

all of their families, my parents,

grandparents, Uncle Michael, the Cooley's,

Sylvia's, Radcliffe's, Edenfield's and Mica's were

all there to celebrate both motherhood and Hampton.

 



Delicious brunch ... scones, muffins, salads, fruit,

turkey & ham, coffee & mimosas & tea ...

 & really yummy lemon

cakes & other misc. desserts.

 



So thankful for my mom and dad and all they did to

make yesterday so fun and memorable.

Lakeside Baby Shower

 

My beautiful Ocala shower was

given by dear family friends and

held at Lorraine's on the lake 

So many sweet details, so many talented hostesses!

 

The fairy godmother's gift with the mother's

handwriting :) 

 

As the guests entered, they were given the choice

of water or a peach mimosa ...

 



 

Honey B is very excited about

her first grandchild :) 

the invitations were beautiful!

 



 

...as were all of the views! 

Delicious quiche and salad and cheese grits

served as the main fare for the brunch ...

 



 

along with many other tasty treats! 

Baby B has many a treasure from all of his showers!

 



 

friends we've had for many years came to celebrate

 

 

all three of my dad's sisters were

able to come, one from Alabama,

one from Georgia and one from Florida!

Leighton, Katie, Renee, Mary Caroline and Kathy
